FAQ

During intervention we are working on specific skills that your child needs in order to be successful in math. If your child misses intervention your child will miss critical instruction.  I do not assign homework, however, if your child misses class he/she might have make up work to complete at home.

How does Intervention Work?

No.  I am not one of your child's core teachers.  The activities and strategies that we will do during math intervention will help your child be able to understand 5th or 6th grade curriculum better, but will not affect his/her grade.

Does my child receive grades in your class?
How Often does my child come to your class?

The amount of time your child spends in my class will depend on the skills we are working on and the progress your child is making.  I would be happy to meet with you and go over your child's progress and goals for intervention.

When I am absent, your child will stay with his Team Time teacher.  I will send activites to the classroom for your child to work on when I cannot be there.

What happens when you are absent?

No.  Every student in the class will be working on intervention strategies.  During Mustang Team Time no new information is presented to the students.
